You may be invited to join a collaborative Workspace managed by another user or production entity (the “Workspace Owner”). If you are an invited user, you acknowledge that your access to, and permissions within, that shared Workspace are strictly controlled by the Workspace Owner, who may modify or revoke your access at any time without notice from us. Furthermore, the Workspace Owner may institute their own internal rules, corporate policies, or non-disclosure agreements regarding your use, downloading, or sharing of the data within their Workspace. It is your responsibility to check with the Workspace Owner for details on any internal policies that apply to your participation. Cinematic Apps is not responsible for resolving any access or data ownership disputes between you and a Workspace Owner.

You are solely responsible for paying all applicable taxes and government charges related to your use of the Services.
You agree not to use the Services for any unlawful purpose, including infringing upon intellectual property, sending spam, or scraping data. Cinematic Apps may monitor activity and reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate access without notice if a violation is suspected.
The Services may include links to third-party websites or services. Cinematic Apps does not control or endorse these services and is not liable for any issues arising from your use of them.
8.1. Confidentiality Obligations
You agree to keep all non-public, proprietary information belonging to Cinematic Apps strictly confidential and not use it to develop competing products.
8.2. Cinematic Apps’ Confidentiality Obligations
Cinematic Apps agrees to treat non-public information regarding your projects, production data, and budgets as your confidential information, accessing it solely as necessary to operate the Services or as required by law.
9.1. Limitation of Liability
Please read carefully: Our tools are not a substitute for professional legal, accounting, or financial advice. Except for gross negligence or willful misconduct, in no event shall Cinematic Apps be liable to you for any amount exceeding the total fees paid by you during the six (6) months preceding the event. Cinematic Apps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits or lost data).
9.2. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cinematic Apps from any claims arising from Your Content, your violation of these Terms, or any union, guild, or labor-related issues arising from your use of the Services.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Cinematic Apps does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compliant with specific union or guild requirements.
Cinematic Apps shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet service provider failures, or governmental actions.

Line Budgeter may provide built-in access to various data sets, reference materials, and tools, including but not limited to union and guild ratebooks, tax incentive libraries, fringe tables, labor rules, budgeting templates, and any other informational resources we may add in the future (collectively, “Provided Data”). All Provided Data is offered strictly for convenience and estimation purposes only.
12.2. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Cinematic Apps makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or current validity of the Provided Data. Union rates, tax laws, fringe percentages, and other industry standards change frequently and without warning. You are solely responsible for independently verifying the accuracy of all rates, fringes, and any other current or future third-party data before relying on them for hiring, payroll, financing, or production execution. You agree that Cinematic Apps shall not be liable for any under-budgeting, over-budgeting, labor disputes, or financial losses resulting from the use of inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete Provided Data.
12.3. Mathematical Computations “As Is”
The budgeting calculation engine, formulas, and math functions within the Services are provided on an “as is” basis. While we strive for absolute precision, software bugs or edge-case calculation errors may occur. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the mathematical accuracy of your final budget totals. Cinematic Apps is held harmless from, and shall bear no liability for, any mathematical errors, miscalculations, or logic discrepancies generated by the software.
If your past budgeting efforts caused late-night anxiety or budget-related nightmares, please know that Cinematic Apps sympathizes—but cannot be held legally responsible for emotional distress or insomnia caused by the stress of financial planning.
You may terminate your Account at any time. Cinematic Apps may suspend or delete Accounts and associated data that remain inactive for twelve (12) consecutive months. Upon termination, your right to access the Services ends immediately, and your data may be permanently deleted.

For U.S. Residents (Mandatory Arbitration): You agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy relating in any way to your use of the Services or these Terms will be resolved strictly through final and binding arbitration administered by JAMS, rather than in court. YOU AND CINEMATIC APPS AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND WAIVE THE RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.
